About
Hello! I'm Maggie. An actor from Morecambe.
I run. I try to walk up fells when I can. I love my nephews and I miss my brother.
And I miss my Mum.
Recently I took on the delicious role of Henry V at Lancaster Castle in a collaboration between professional and community actors, which was both a huge challenge and a total joy.
I've been working as an actor for around 8 years - during which I've created a successful one woman show 'Salsa Brava', which was used to stimulate multi-agency collaboration for suicide prevention throughout Cumbria.
In 2021 I earned myself a distinction in my Professional Acting MA from ALRA North. It was here that I developed a love for early modern text; I got to exercise this playing the lead 'Musella' in Lady Mary Wroth's 'Love's Victory' at her historical home Penshurst Place.
I've toured with and now direct for 'The Smashed Project GB' which is part of a global alcohol awareness campaign on track to reach 10 million young people by 2030.
